Produced from 1903 to around 1945 the Model 1903 ‘Pocket’ was also known as the 1903 ‘Hamerless’. This is actually incorrect as this John Browning design features a concealed internal hammer. The Model 1903 was used extensively by the US Army during WWII and also by the SOE. It also had quite a reputation as a ‘gangster’ gun during the 1920’s and was linked various well-known gangsters of the period including Al Capone. This example dates to 1912 (from serial number) and it has the Crown over V proof mark suggesting that it was used in Britain. It also has the letters 'A.R.C.S' engraved neatly in the front strap of the grip. Most of the original Colt blue finish is intact (around 90%) with just a couple of minor areas of staining. It has what appear to be original Colt hardwood grips which are again in sound order. Complete with one magazine and 5 inert .32ACP rounds. Deactivated with fully moving parts, working dry fire action and the ability to field strip. Sorry - no international sales.
